By mischance Dad doesn't catch the plane to Egypt and the five kids are suddenly alone in Cairo Airport and are about to be sent home by the Egypt authorities. It's a difficult situation, but by ill-luck Mrs. Flinth was on board the same plane.
The prospect of the five children not having the vacation they have been looking forward to for months, is too much for Mrs. Flinth. Pressed by the children she reluctantly takes it upon herself to take care of the children during the vacation. But where the children imagined a relaxing holiday by the swimming pool, Mrs. Flinth has other high cultural plans for the vacation... they are all in for a surprise... |
